This week we celebrated the retirement of Sue Capewell, who has worked at the Maltster’s Association of Great Britain for the last 21 years. Sue has been a dedicated member of the MAGB secretariat and has served the malting industry tirelessly during her time here. We celebrated Sue’s career in Masham with a visit to Theakston Brewery, who, interestingly started brewing in 1827, the same year that the MAGB was formed. We would like to thank Sue for all her hard work over the least 21 years, and wish her a very happy and well-deserved retirement.
