Simpsons Malt is the largest totally independently family owned Maltsters in the UK. Simpson's headquarters and largest malting plant are located at Berwick-upon-Tweed,together with McCreath Simpson & Prentice (the agricultural merchant subsidiary of Simpsons Malt). We also own Tivetshall Maltings (Norfolk), the second largest capacity maltings, where the Roast House is also situated. We also own a 'drum maltings' at Pontefract.
