Fundamentals in Malting

Fundamentals in Malting (FIM) is a new qualification  developed to form part of the CMC qualification but can also be taken separately. 

It takes the form of a workbook, to be completed by the candidate over a 6 month period.  At the end of this period the candidate will be submitted to a site assessment where an Assessor will take them round their maltings and question them on aspects covered within the workbook. 

Registration for the FIM is now closed. Candidates who are registered will be contacted shortly and sent their workbook for completion to be ready for their site visit in January/February 2013.
